Miriam Pre-Reading Question: Why are people sometimes fascinated by fear?

  • I wanted to add somethimg to the discussion of the story Miriam. i though of another possible theory. I think that Miriam might be real. The textual evidence might be supported by the evidence of Miriam appearing in Mrs. Millers life when she was standing in line to get the ticket, she looked at Miriam and as Miriam noticed her she decided to come up to her, as she though that Mrs. Miller was nice and maybe she though that she was lonely looking and she decided to make her company. Another evidence would be when Miriam said that she lived with an old man before, that means that she actually lived with someone and that she liked Mrs. Miller a lot and wanted to stay with her and keep her company in her lonely life.
